Guide to Integrate Telegram

Step 1: Getting Started with Telegram Integration

  1. Sign in to Chatbotgen and Create Your Bot

  • Make sure you have access to your Chatbotgen account. If you don’t have one, create an account.
  • Set up your bot by uploading files, Q&As, or adding a prompt.

  1. Find the Telegram Integration Option:

  • Navigate to your chatbot menu
  • Click on the “Integrations” tab.


  • Select “View” in the Telegram panel


  • Select “Integrate”


  • Select “New Telegram Bot”


  • Follow the displayed steps to connect your Telegram Bot to your chatbot

Step 2: Setting up Telegram Account and App

  1. Create a Telegram Account or Log in:



Step 3: Generate Telegram Bot Token

  1. Start a chat with BotFather

  • Search for “@BotFather” in the search bar.
  • Select it.
  • Select “Start”


  1. Create Telegram Bot

  • Send the message “/newbot” to BotFather.
  • Then, send the name you want for your bot.
  • Finally, send the username you want for your bot, it must end in “bot”, for example: “example_username_bot”


  1.  Copy the bot’s token
    • It is important to have copied the token provided to us for the Telegram Integration

Step 4: Add Telegram Bot Token to your Chatbotgen Chatbot

  1. Setting up Telegram Integration

  • Paste the token on the telegram integration page in Chatbotgen.
  • Select “Add Bot”


Integration Completed
Congratulations! Your chatbot is now ready to assist clients via your Telegram Bot.
